FTIR ammonia (NH3) total columns and low vertical resolution profile data at Porto Velho (Brazil). Details on the FTIR NH3 retrievals can be found in https://doi.org/10.5194/acp-15-12789-2015. The retrieval parameters used in the present NH3 time-series at Porto Velho are following the settings for Saint-Denis (Reunion Island) described in this latter study, except that the spectroscopy has been changed to HITRAN 2008 for an updated harmonization with the NDACC FTIR network. Data users are kindly invited to collaborate to ensure a proper use of the FTIR data (e.g. appropriate use of the averaging kernels). The guidelines in the GEOMS documentation should be used to select the latest version of a data file in case files have overlapping dates.
