FTIR ethane (C2H6) groundbased remote sensing at Porto Velho from instrument BIRA.IASB004

FTIR ethane (C2H6) total columns and low vertical resolution profile data at Porto Velho (Brazil). Details on the FTIR C2H6 retrievals can be found in https://doi.org/10.1016/j.jqsrt.2015.03.017. The retrieval parameters used in the present C2H6 time-series at Porto Velho are following the settings described in this latter study, except that the third spectral micro-window is not used due to the high humidity of the Porto Velho site. Data users are kindly invited to collaborate to ensure a proper use of the FTIR data (e.g. appropriate use of the averaging kernels).

The guidelines in the GEOMS documentation should be used to select the latest version of a data file in case files have overlapping dates.
