This dataset contains half-hourly averaged volatile organic compound concentrations and fluxes obtained above a maize field at the Lonzée ICOS ecosystem site in Belgium, from March to October 2013. The concentration data were obtained with a hs-PTR-Quad-MS instrument (Ionicon Analytik GmbH, Austria) and micrometeorological flux data were obtained with the disjunct eddy covariance by mass scanning method. Methodological aspects and data analysis have been described in "Dynamics and mechanisms of volatile organic compound exchanges in a winter wheat field" by Bachy et al., https://doi.org/10.1016/j.atmosenv.2019.117105, 2020.
The dataset is provided as a csv file (size 5.050 KB) and a complete list of all variables is given in the accompanying "Dataset_Lonzée_2013_variables" text file. Version 2 corrects an error in the header of the Version 1 csv file: the variable names in columns 38, 39 and 40 were replaced by "DL_Flux_M45 (µg m-2 s-1)", "DL_Flux_M59 (µg m-2 s-1)" and "DL_Flux_M69 (µg m-2 s-1)", respectively.
All ancillary data measured at the site are publicly available and can be obtained from ICOS Fluxnet Archive Product, Lonzee. Detailed site description and characterization can be found on ICOS Lonzée station.
