Venus atmospheric profiles - From SPICAV-SOIR on board VEx version w24.00

Vertical profiles of density of species in the upper atmosphere of Venus at the terminator. Data retrieved from calibrated spectra obtained with the SPICAV-SOIR instrument on board the Venus Express spacecraft.
This dataset also contains upper limits of other species as well as pressure and temperature.

This dataset was presented in https://doi.org/10.1016/j.pss.2017.04.022 for description of the dataset on the Vespa portal and an update was provided in the addendum https://doi.org/10.1016/j.pss.2024.105842

VOtables (.xml files) for each molecule detected by SOIR and for each orbit where SOIR was operating.
The density "n_", logarithm of the density "log_n_" and volume mixing ratio "vmr_" are provided for different smoothing by a moving average with windows varying from +/-0.1 to +/- 1 scale height (by step of 0.1).
For species with only upper limits (H2S, HOCl, H2CO, O3, NH3, HCN, N2O, NO2, NO, HO2): the files contains three fields: altitude, upper limit and error.
The corresponding uncertainties on the vertical profiles are the variables starting with "err_"

The files also contains the vertical profile of pressure "p" and temperature "t". The data concerning the geometry of the measurements: solar longitude, and local time, latitude, longitude, and Julian date corresponding to the profile are also provided in the same files.
