Datasets of QBO-induced anomalous transport in the Northern Hemisphere stratosphere: the exceptional 2018/2019 late boreal winter

6 different zip files containing one netcdf file per dataset for:

  • Daily Ay terms for BASCOE-ERA5, BASCOE-JRA3Q, BASCOE-MERRA2, M2-SCREAM, M2-GMI, BRAM2 and SD-WACCM.
  • Daily EPFD for ERA5, MERRA2, JRA3Q, ERAI and SD-WACCM.
  • Monthly zonal mean N2O concentrations for BASCOE-ERA5, BASCOE-JRA3Q, BASCOE-MERRA2, M2-SCREAM, M2-GMI, BRAM2, SD-WACCM and SWOOSH.
  • Monthly zonal mean ozone (O3) concentrations for BASCOE-ERA5, BASCOE-JRA3Q, BASCOE-MERRA2, M2-SCREAM, M2-GMI, BRAM2, SD-WACCM and SWOOSH.
  • Monthly zonal mean zonal wind for ERA5, MERRA2, JRA3Q, ERAI, SD-WACCM and for the Singapore measurements.
  • Monthly zonal mean meridional wind for ERA5, MERRA2, JRA3Q, ERAI and SD-WACCM

The time coverage depends on the dataset:

  • BASCOE-ERA5: 1997-2023
  • BASCOE-MERRA2 and BASCOE-JRA3Q: 1998-2023
  • M2-GMI: 1980-2019
  • M2-SCREAM: 2005-2022
  • BRAM2: 2004-2019
  • SD-WACCM: 1997-2022
  • SWOOSH: 1984-2024
  • Singapore observations: 1987-2021
