VIRTIS-M Temperature Retrievals – Complete Dataset
This dataset contains all VIRTIS-M temperature retrievals (Grassi et al. 2014). The archive is distributed as a compressed (.zip) directory containing 1 HDF5 (.h5) file.
The data are stored in HDF5 format and organized into two groups: Geometry and Science.
Geometry
- LST: Local Solar Time of the observation [hours]
- Lat: Latitude of the observation [degree]
- Lon: Longitude of the observation [degree]
- Obs_name: Original VIRTIS-M observation filename
Science
- Temp: Retrieved atmospheric temperature profile [K]
- alt: Altitude grid associated with the retrieval [km]
- press: Pressure grid associated with the retrieval [mbar]
