VIRTIS-M Temperature Retrievals – 1-Hour Local...
This dataset contains VIRTIS-M temperature retrievals grouped into 1-hour local solar time bins. The archive is distributed as a compressed (.zip) directory containing 12 HDF5 (.h5) files.
Each file corresponds to a specific 1-hour local solar time interval.
The data are stored in HDF5 format and organized into two groups: Geometry and Science.
Geometry
- LST: Local Solar Time of the observation [hours]
- Lat: Latitude of the observation [degree]
- Lon: Longitude of the observation [degree]
- Obs_name: Original VIRTIS-M observation filename
Science
- Temp: Retrieved atmospheric temperature profile [K]
- alt: Altitude grid associated with the retrieval [km]
- press: Pressure grid associated with the retrieval [mbar]
